The housekeepers employed by Mrs Sparkles consist of Singaporeans, Permanent Residents and Work Permit holders (Burmese, Malaysians and PRC Nationals). All our staff can speak and understand basic English and are generally aged between 30 to 50 years old.
We always endeavour to assign the same housekeeper to service your home as far as possible. We understand our customers may prefer to have a regular housekeeper and strive to minimize any disruption caused. In unforeseen circumstances, a replacement worker would be sent. Customers can choose to have 1 worker for 4 hours or 2 workers for 2 hours (subject to the availability of the staff).

Cleaning of the exterior of windows with no safe access and landing • Hand washing of laundry items • Pruning or labour-intensive gardening tasks • Hand scrubbing and manual cleaning of floors. For floor cleaning, we utilize alternative methods to ensure optimal cleaning results
It depends on the customers’ preference. Most of our customers prefer to have their homes cleaned when they are not at home.
Customers may entrust us with their keys if they prefer. Alternatively, you can provide us with your mailbox key, and we will deposit your house keys in the mailbox once cleaning is complete.
As our housekeepers rely on public transportation, their arrival timings depend on the varying traffic conditions. As a result, there may be an anticipated delay of up to 15 minutes in their arrival time. We are committed to providing timely service and appreciate your patience and understanding as we manage these potential delays.
For regular housekeeping services, we would recommend a list of cleaning supplies and equipment to be provided by the owners, to ensure effective and efficient cleaning.
Mrs Sparkles’ housekeepers are trained in time management and the application of appropriate cleaning methods. The main chores of vacuuming and mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, dusting accessible surfaces, cleaning kitchen appliances, and ironing of clothes will be completed. For a landed property of more than 2,500 sq.ft, 2 housekeepers are normally required.
You need not be concerned about committing to a long-term contract. You may begin services at your convenience. Please note that a one-month advance notice is required for the suspension or termination of any previously agreed-upon service.
We will issue an electronic invoice for services rendered at the beginning of the following month. Please make payment within 7 days of receipt of the invoice, which will be sent via email. Payments can be made through PayNow, internet banking, or by cheque.
